Victoria studied Genetics and Cell Biology at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, before undertaking a PhD in Genetics, Cell & Molecular Biology at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY, USA. After graduating in 2014, she moved to Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, USA, where she currently works to identify the genetics underlying numerous cancers and the cell biology of metastasis.
