Dr. Mithila Handu

Dr. Mithila Handu is a post-doctoral researcher at Oregon Health and State University. She has a PhD in Biochemistry from IISER, Pune, India. Her interests lie in understanding molecular mechanisms of disease etiology. Currently, her research is oriented towards hematological disorders, studying the altered relationship between hematopoietic stem cells and its niche in fanconi anemia. She also studied metabolic memory linked to obesity and hyperglycemia in non-human primates.
