Martin Frisher is Reader in Health Services Research in the School of Pharmacy at Keele University.He has published extensively in the fields of drug addiction and pharmaco-epidemiology.
He is the lead author of a European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) report entitled “Preventing opioid overdoses in Europe: a critical assessment of known risk factors and preventative measures”. He was part of the team that developed the software for the European Union funded Overdose Risk InfOrmatioN (ORION) project. He was the co-author of a study published in the British Medical Journal entitled “Effect of Anxiolytic and Hypnotic Drug Prescriptions on Mortality Hazards: Retrospective Cohort Study”
