Jose M. Ordonez-Mena did his PhD at the Network Aging Research (NAR) of the University of Heidelberg, and the Division of Clinical Epidemiology and Aging Research of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ).
His research interests are focused on the prevention of cancer and other chronic diseases affecting the elderly
by targeting major preventable lifestyle factors such as smoking, low physical activity or a poor diet. He has recently joined the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford.
