Jian-Nong Xu is Associate Professor at Biology Department of New Mexico State University. He is a mosquito biologist with interests in vector control for mosquito borne diseases. His research focuses on metagenomics of mosquito associated microbiome and its impact on mosquito life traits. He is also interested in evolution of mosquito innate immune system and population genetics of insecticide resistance.
