Flavio Finger & Adam Kucharski

Dr Flavio Finger is a Research Fellow in the Centre for the Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases (CMMID) at LSHTM. His work focuses on the development and application of epidemiological models. He is specifically interested in real-time outbreak analysis and forecasting, the spatial dynamics of disease spread and on the influence of environmental drivers such as rainfall, floods and droughts on outbreaks.

Dr Adam Kucharski is an Associate Professor and Sir Henry Dale Fellow in CMMID. His research focuses on analysis of outbreak-prone infectious diseases. In particular, he is interested in how social behaviour and pre-existing immunity shape outbreak dynamics, and how knowledge of such processes can improve surveillance and control measures.
