Edna Selestine
The Wakinge community PMTCT project was implemented by Edna Selestine and her team at World Vision Tanzania (Devocatus Kamara, Irene Mbugua). Data collection protocol and analysis was conducted by Nedico Zimbabwe (Amos Milanzi, Innocent Yekeye, Dr. Sode Matiku, Victoria V James).

Edna Selestine served as the project coordinator of the Wakinge c-PMTCT project in Shinyanga. She has over 12 years’ experience working with rural communities in the Western and Lake Zones of Tanzania. Her core competencies include HIV and gender, nutrition in HIV care, community-level PMTCT programming, social and behavioral change communication, and maternal, infant and child nutrition. She has worked with World Vision Tanzania on general health, HIV/AIDS and nutrition programmes in the rural communities.
