Brigitte Nerlich is Emeritus Professor of Science, Language and Society at the Institute for Science and Society, School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham. She has published widely on the use and misuse of metaphors in representations of genetic, genomics, epigenetics and synthetic biology. Achim Rosemann is a research fellow at the Department of Sociology, Philosophy and Anthropology of the University of Exeter. He has been PI of the Wellcome Trust-funded project “Germ Line Gene Editing in Global Context” (2016-2018).
