Dr. Matheson is an independent consultant, researcher and writer based in Toronto, Canada. Between 1995 and 2012 he worked as a consultant, analyst and writer in the pharmaceutical sector. He regards himself as a supporter of innovative pharmaceutical research, but a critic of marketing. His research interests mainly focus on the interface between commerce and science, from philosophical, cultural, textual, ethical, regulatory and legal standpoints.
